Kevin Ertell brings order to chaos and simplicity to complexity—turning bold ideas into bottom-line results.
Over three decades in the trenches—guiding global brands, scaling digital businesses, and coaching high-growth start-ups—he’s learned one lesson: strategy and execution start in the same room—co-create the plan, then deliver it together with disciplined follow-though.
As Founder & CEO of Mistere Advisory, Kevin now helps leaders across tech, healthcare, consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, and professional services convert ambition into action. His tried and tested frameworks (Six Cs, KPI Trees, Monkey-Cage sessions) slice through complexity, illuminate the critical path, and galvanize teams around measurable growth.

Before launching Mistere Advisory, Kevin ran multibillion-dollar retail and e-commerce operations at Nike, Sur La Table, Borders, and Tower Records—experience that honed his knack for translating complex plans into simple, repeatable playbooks. Along the way he chaired the National Retail Federation’s digital council, advised 100+ solution providers on product-market fit, and earned a reputation as a straight-talking catalyst for change.

Beginning her career as a CPA public tax accountant at KPMG, she distinguished herself with her profound knowledge and dedication to excellence. Her career path then led her to Liveclicker, a software vendor, where she excelled as the controller, showcasing her adaptability and strategic financial oversight.
Today, Shanna continues to leverage her extensive experience in her role as Accounting Manager at Mistere Advisory.
